Fatimie Ashyrova — A branch of peach blossoms in a glass goblet with peach. Evolution of a peach

In this still life painted with gouache, a quiet narrative unfolds through the dialogue of objects and light. Three ripe peaches lie beside a deep blue glass of water, where a delicate branch of peach blossom leans gently—both echoing and contrasting the fruit's fullness. The interplay of shadow and reflection on the wall behind them suggests a quiet passage of time, as if we are witnessing not just a moment, but a cycle—from bloom to fruit. The stillness invites contemplation: on growth, on simplicity, and on the subtle evolution of beauty as it matures.

Still lifes and floral abstractions exploring light, colour and the quiet poetry of everyday life.
