We are the data controller for personal data collected through amovegallery.com. This policy explains how we handle it. WHAT WE COLLECT We only collect information that you choose to send us: — Enquiry forms (about an artwork or a general enquiry): your name, email address, phone number (optional), country of residence and your message. — Portfolio submissions from artists: your name, email address, country, links to your website, Instagram or portfolio, an optional PDF attachment and your message. We do not use analytics, advertising trackers or any third-party scripts. We do not collect data about your browsing. WHY WE PROCESS IT We use this information to respond to your enquiry, to consider portfolio submissions, and to comply with legal obligations that apply to a UK art business, including financial sanctions and anti-money-laundering rules. The legal bases under UK GDPR are your consent (which you give when submitting a form), our legitimate interest in responding to messages addressed to us, and compliance with legal obligations. WHERE IT IS STORED AND WHO SEES IT Your data is stored on our own server located in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany) and is accessible only to the gallery. We do not sell or share your data with third parties. Emails we send and receive are processed by our email provider. We use no other processors. HOW LONG WE KEEP IT Enquiry records are kept for as long as required for legal and compliance purposes. Portfolio submissions are kept while they remain under consideration. You may ask us to delete your data at any time (see below); we will do so unless we are legally required to retain it.
