Elena Russkikh — Gathering Myself

Gathering Myself is a painting created with acrylic in a naive art style. At the center is a woman with a cup of coffee, immersed in a quiet moment of solitude. Her simple, natural gestures and inward focus reflect a gentle process of returning to herself and restoring inner balance. The minimal composition, soft forms, and a warm, restrained palette create a sense of calm and coziness. Subtle texture adds liveliness and tactile depth to the surface. The painting captures a familiar state — a pause within the flow of daily life, when one can slow down, breathe, and reconnect with oneself. It fits beautifully into modern interiors: minimalism, Scandinavian, Japandi, as well as cozy spaces such as a bedroom, living room, study, or relaxation area.

A contemporary artist working in naive figurative painting, naive landscapes, and still life.
