Nina Timoshenko — Teacher

A vibrant conceptual work about the power of knowledge and the role of a mentor. At the center of the composition is a teacher with an apple instead of a head, writing the formula E = mc² on the board — a symbol of the energy of thought, discovery, and intellect. In front of him are onion-headed students, like sprouting shoots revealing the layers of learning. The painting combines naïve aesthetics, irony, and a deep metaphor of education. Its original visual imagery and memorable composition make the work a strong accent in a contemporary interior. “The Teacher” is an intellectual, witty, and collectible contemporary artwork that draws attention, sparks dialogue, and is an excellent choice for collectors of contemporary art. Shipping is at the buyer's expense; the painting is shipped in a box.

Naive form and poetic surrealism: paintings in which familiar reality quietly slips into the impossible.
