Anna TuzArt — Playing Through Winter

This oil painting captures a solitary child mid-motion, about to strike a ball in a quiet winter landscape. Bare branches stretch above, contrasting the grounded action below. The composition balances stillness and movement, fragility and determination. The muted pastel background dissolves into an emotional atmosphere rather than a literal environment, allowing the gesture itself to become the focus. The raised foot and golden-toned ball symbolize initiative the moment before action becomes reality. Through textured brushwork and restrained color, the painting explores resilience, play, and the quiet strength found in simple acts of courage.

A self-taught contemporary artist exploring the relationship between humanity, nature, and the emotional power of light.
