Alex Litvin — The Sustainer

The Sustainer is the second work in the series The Guardians of the Eternal Cycle, inspired by the archetype of Taurus and exploring endurance, stability, and rooted growth. The bull stands firmly against a warm burnt-terracotta background, embodying calm, grounded strength, while concentric spirals, shield-like ornaments, and flowering branches evoke cycles of nourishment and continuity. Pale curved horns and intricate botanical details create a dialogue between physical strength and the delicate rhythms of nature. Executed in a rich palette of terracotta, warm ochre, charcoal, and subtle gold, the work combines graphic precision with tactile layering and a strong folk-art character. Shipped stretched on a wooden stretcher frame.

Turning ancient symbols and inner worlds into contemporary visual stories.
